Our volunteers aren’t just the heart and soul of our dental clinics — they’re the backbone of our work! Bringing free emergency dental care to underserved communities only happens because of compassionate professionals like you. When you share your time and talent to help people who have no other way to get care, you’re making a real difference in the lives of our neighbors.
If you are a dentist or dental assistant with a current Oregon and/or Washington state license to practice your profession, please apply.
We ask our volunteers to come to their roles with compassion, understanding, and respect for the people we serve. That is the foundation of our care and is an invaluable part of the services we provide.
Our dental volunteers are asked to commit to a minimum of 12 shifts per year. Each shift is about seven (7) hours and includes seeing up to eight (8) patients per shift.
