A Charity You Can Trust

Why donate to MTI?

Your support has a big impact.

When you give to Medical Teams International, you are truly making a difference in the health and lives of vulnerable people around the world. In 2014, with the help of people of like you, we were able to care for more than 3.1 million people in 30 countries. And with the support of volunteers, hundreds of local partners, and generous donations of medicines and supplies, we are able to keep our overhead low and maximize your gifts to have the greatest possible impact.

Maximizing Donor Dollars

Medical Teams International strives to insure that donor funds are invested for the maximum possible outcomes in our programs to help the world’s most vulnerable. The places we work are difficult and the health problems we address our complex but we’re resolute to insure that the donor dollars we spend have the greatest possible impact. As an example,

  • Your $10 gift helps us ship more than $1,260 in lifesaving medicines and medical supplies.
  • A gift of $89 provides education, access to care and support to help a malnourished child in thrive.
  • Your contribution of $125 means we can provide dental services to child or adult here in the U.S. who can’t afford or access dental care.

We measure our performance by setting clear quantifiable and qualitative goals for our programs and assessing our impact on the health of those we serve to adjust program execution along the way and, ultimately, as a critical measure of our success. For more information on our recent outcomes, read our Annual Report here.

  • To use your contributions faithfully and wisely, in keeping with our mission to demonstrate the love of Christ to people affected by disaster, conflict and poverty around the world.
  • To respect your privacy by refusing to share your name, address or any other personal information with any other group.
  • To make annual reports and audited financial statements available upon request.
  • Medical Teams International is a non-profit organization authorized to receive tax-deductible contributions as allowed by law. On occasion, we receive more contributions for a given project than are needed. When this happens, our Board of Directors may authorize the use of these funds to meet a similar pressing need elsewhere.
Your gift directly touches hurting families and children, even when you physically cannot.
