Medical Teams International provides loving, life-saving health care for people in crisis here at home and around the world. We look forward to continuing our conversation with you and your church about feeding the hungry, caring for the sick, and loving those who are suffering.
Medical Teams International is motivated by the love of Christ. Our faith shapes how we serve with compassion, dignity, and humility — providing medical care to people in need regardless of background.
Churches partner in many ways — through prayer, learning, advocacy, financial support, and shared mission opportunities. We value long-term relationships and help churches engage at a pace that fits their congregation.
Yes. Whenever possible, we collaborate with local churches and trusted partners to ensure care is culturally appropriate, sustainable, and rooted in the local community.
Our programs follow recognized medical and humanitarian standards, and we work closely with local health systems. We regularly evaluate outcomes to ensure care truly helps communities both immediately and over time.
Absolutely. Many churches begin by learning and praying before taking deeper steps. We’re committed to walking alongside churches as they discern how God may be calling them to engage.
Right now, many of the communities we serve are facing overlapping crises — conflict, displacement, natural disasters, and limited access to basic healthcare. In these situations, people often go without essential medical care simply because it isn’t available.
Churches play a vital role in meeting these needs. You can help by praying for the people and medical teams serving on the front lines, learning about current responses, and partnering with us to support life-saving medical care where it’s needed most. Whether your church is just beginning to explore global missions or has long-standing involvement, we’re grateful to walk alongside you as you discern how to engage.
The best next step is simply staying connected. We invite pastors and leaders to receive occasional updates, stories from the field, and partnership resources created specifically for churches.
