In response to the great need in the world around us, together we practice a deep love for the person right in front of us. We are compelled by compassion. Our hearts are broken by suffering. Every child deserves a chance to live a healthy life. According to the World Health Organization, more than half of under-five child deaths are due to diseases that are preventable and treatable through simple, affordable interventions. Medical Teams International’s Mothers and Children programs are working to change this fact. We are committed to women. We welcome all who are passionate about advocating for the health and well-being of women – especially women who live in challenging circumstances and are trying to create and sustain a better future for their children. We come alongside women, just like us, because we know empowered women change their communities. We are called to collective action. Built for community, this movement seeks to amplify our time and resources to make a greater impact for women and children than we could alone. How We Heal Connect – We connect like-minded champions through local chapters who come together to build meaningful, world-changing relationships.
