Overcoming the Trauma of War and Displacement – Washington

January 22, 2019
Bellevue Towers

Join us Tuesday, January 22, in Bellevue Towers, The Great Room, for a thought-provoking panel, followed by Q&A on overcoming the trauma of war and displacement. Our speakers include Kelly Kirk, Program Support Officer for Medical Teams’ field operations, Ginna Brelsford & Shogofa Amini: Sahar – Education for Afghan Girls, and a representative from Refugee Women’s Alliance (ReWA).

As caretakers for their families, women refugees often bear the brunt of the emotional trauma caused by war and conflict. Gather with friends and learn how you can make a difference. Come with open hearts and questions. Together we can be the change we want to see in the world.
