  • Monday, February 22, 2010 - Aftershock

    by Website Editor | Feb 22, 2010

This am at 4:30 a.m. a loud malevolent sounding roar came swelling  through our camp from the sea behind and leaped on my bed and violently shock it. Out of a sound sleep the roar was frightening. Everyone got up confused. We were very glad we were outside rather than in the building. It was the loudest aftershock we  had so far. The sound really adds an unsettling factor. I see why so many people won't sleep in their houses at night. Today we go out to continue to do mobile clinic in the rural area  these areas have seen very little aid and the area is the epicenter of the quake. Leogane is the nearest town in this area.
