Our Work in Latin America and the Caribbean

Medical Teams International is continuing its extensive outreach to Latin America and the Caribbean this year. We are working with well-established partnerships in six countries, including two Medical Teams International field offices in Haiti and Guatemala. We implement health projects in regions with the greatest need.  For more specific information on our work, please click on the Current Program, Country or Partner of interest below.

Teams and shipments

Medical Teams International will send 101 volunteer teams to Latin America and the Caribbean this year. We will also ship an estimated $41 million in medical supplies and equipment to under-stocked hospitals and clinics.
