  • Day 8 | Nicaragua 2010

    by Website Editor | Apr 15, 2010

No electricity or running water today. All of a sudden I am desperate to wash! Clinic today was here, mostly the same types of stuff but just as fun for me. After lunch I walked the lane and gave out the last of my candy to the kids that now know me well enough to come out waving and chattering in Spanish. It took the rest of the day to get back to Managua and the first thing I did was take a long, cool shower.

I wish we were still in the mountains. Managua doesnʼt hold much interest for me...traffic, poverty, noise, hotter.
