Mobile Dental

Who:
Dentists, hygienists and chair-side assistants with current, appropriate state license to practice their profession.

What:
Provide free dental care in the Pacific Northwest to low-income individuals with urgent needs.

When:
Commit to one day a week, month, quarter or year. Volunteers choose which day and how often.

Where:

  • Greater Portland/Vancouver area
  • Salem, mid-Willamette Valley area
  • Greater Seattle/Puget Sound area
  • Walla Walla, Pendleton, Hermiston, Tri-Cities area
  • Douglas/Coos counties (Ore.)
  • Central Oregon
  • Minneapolis/St. Paul, Minnesota [We are the clinical provider for the Ronald McDonald Care Mobile®]

Why:
More than 2 million children and adults in the Pacific Northwest live below federal poverty levels. These families cannot afford basic dental care. Many more of the families earn too much to receive welfare, but too little to afford the escalating cost of insurance or dental care.

Mobile Dental volunteers must complete and return the Mobile Dental application as well as read the Child Protection policy.
