Here is what Medical Teams International is doing in response to hurricanes Harvey and Irma.

We have been engaged with a trusted partner organization, MAP International, to provide needed hygiene kits in Texas and Florida; working with our regular distribution center volunteers and a team from Microsoft in Redmond Washington to assemble kits for shipment.

We have been in communication with volunteer driven organizations already on the ground to determine the need to mobilize medical and non-medical volunteers to these areas.

While there is much work that needs to be accomplished, it has been determined that there are very few medical roles, which are mostly limited to Texas and Florida licensed medical personnel and, as such, a comprehensive response by Medical Teams' volunteers is not needed.
