30-Day Prayer Guide
“Your kingdom come, your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.”

When we spend time in prayer, we begin to see the world through God's eyes and understand more fully His heart of compassion.
Day 1—Pray for the millions of people who lost homes, family members, and jobs when Hurricanes Katrina and Rita hit the Gulf Coast of the U.S.
Day 2—Pray that God will bless the negotiations between the Lord’s Resistance Army and the government of Uganda so that more than 2 million people can return to their villages to live in peace.
Day 3—Pray for our Moldovan staff, who work through churches to care for the needs of the poor in villages throughout Moldova.
Day 4—Thank God for the thousands of volunteers who faithfully serve on our international teams, demonstrating the love of Christ to people in crisis around the world.
Day 5—Pray for an end to the brutal fighting that has killed hundreds of thousands of people in Darfur, Sudan.
Day 6—Ask God to use our shipments of donated medicines to save lives and bring healing to millions of people around the world.
Day 7—Pray for the millions of people affected by HIV/AIDS, especially in African countries.
Day 8—Thank God for donors who give what they can so that others may live and have hope.
Day 9—Pray for the millions of people who are still rebuilding their lives after the South Asia tsunami.
Day 10—Pray that God will bless the people who bring hope to the children in the Tultitlan garbage dump in Mexico City.
Day 11—Ask God to use churches in Gulf Coast communities and church volunteers from around the country to restore hope and rebuild the lives of those affected by the hurricanes.
Day 12—Pray for Romanian children who are growing up in state placement centers, without the love of family.
Day 13—Ask God to bless the children in the Republican Children’s Hospital in Moldova, where our volunteers work alongside the Moldovan staff of the burn unit.
Day 14—Pray for our staff and volunteers who train people around the world in emergency medical services that will save lives.
Day 15—Pray for people in the Pacific Northwest who do not have the money or insurance to pay for dental care and who are struggling with pain and dental disease.
Day 16—Pray for refugees around the world who have fled their homes to find safety.
Day 17—Ask God to bring peace to northeast Sri Lanka, which has been plagued by a brutal internal conflict that destabilizes the country and makes recovery from the tsunami disaster even more difficult.
Day 18—Ask God to use our Bible clubs in Oaxaca, Mexico, to shape the lives of hundreds of children who attend each week. Ask God to use these clubs to bring hope to the squatter communities in which the clubs are located.
Day 19—Pray for the children who have been abducted by the Lord’s Resistance Army and are forced to be sex slaves and soldiers. Ask God to rescue them and heal them.
Day 20—Ask God to heal the trauma felt by people—especially children—who lost family members in the tsunami.
Day 21—Thank God for the many dental volunteers who give their time to help thousands of people suffering from dental problems in our own communities.
Day 22—Ask God to bless the churches that are ministering to people with HIV/AIDS and their families.
Day 23—Pray for our partner Manos de Vida as it works with the poorest of the poor in Mexico.
Day 24—Thank God for the faithful volunteers who work in our warehouse to sort medicines and supplies that will be sent around the world to clinics and hospitals that have so little.
Day 25—Pray for our Ugandan medical staff and our volunteers, who travel through rebel territory to provide medical care to thousands of people who have fled to camps.
Day 26—Pray for our health staff who are starting a new program to help mothers in Liberia improve the health of their children.
Day 27—Pray for our partner Heart of Hope Ministries as it cares for Romanian orphans. Ask God to bless the ministry of the Bible camp that nurtures spiritual growth in the orphans.
Day 28—Pray that the government in Liberia will be able to avoid tribal conflicts and the temptations of corruption that have created such difficulties in that country.
Day 29—Pray for those who are working for justice and an end to conflict, poverty, and oppression.
Day 30—Ask God to show you what you can do to demonstrate His love to the poor around the world.
"The Lord . . . gives justice to the oppressed and food to the hungry.
The Lord frees the prisoners. [He] opens the eyes of the blind.
The Lord lifts the burdens of those bent beneath their loads. . . .
He cares for the orphans and widows."
