Planned Gifts

A “planned gift” is simply a charitable contribution that requires some forethought—some planning—regarding not only the benefit to Medical Teams International and the people we serve, but also the financial implications for you and your family.

Typically, people make planned gifts in response to significant developments in their own lives: when selling a business or retiring; upon receiving an inheritance; or during the course of developing their own financial and estate plans. Be assured that whenever the time is right for you, a planned gift to Medical Teams International will improve lives around the world for years to come.

If you’re interested in the possibility of making a planned gift, you have many options. Before thinking about those, though, what is your vision for your gift? Does a particular area of the world or specific project catch your attention? What would you like your gift to accomplish? Your assets and donation vehicles are ways for you to realize your goals.

You may wish to begin by thinking about your giving options, i.e., the particular assets you might contribute. Next, explore how to give, that is to say, the different ways your gift could be made.

We also offer an online calculator, in case you’d like to get a quick idea of the tax and financial aspects of certain gifts you may be considering. And if you want to learn about the planned giving staff at Medical Teams International, we’re here to help.
