The Virtual Real Life Exhibit shows snapshots of the work we’ve done around the world in the last 40 years, including our work in the U.S. With five distinct stories to explore, you’ll step into refugee camps in Uganda, Bangladesh, and Lebanon. You’ll see how we responded to the COVID-19 pandemic in our international field offices. The Real Life Exhibit itself is not open for public viewing or tours. Although we hosted in-person groups at our onsite exhibit in the past, we decided to close the onsite exhibit to better accommodate our growing organizational needs. We recognize the exhibit was a significant space for many over the years and that this news is disappointing.

The Real Life Exhibit is most appropriate for children ages 10 and up.
Not at all! The Real Life Exhibit is an opportunity for people of all faiths — or no particular faith — to learn more about the lives of people in crisis. No religious participation is required. The Real Life Exhibit does reflect the mission and calling of Medical Teams International, which includes references to God and opportunities for prayer.
We recommend giving yourself 45 minutes to go through the Virtual Real Life Exhibit. This will give you plenty of time to interact with and reflect on the many scenes you encounter.
Yes! Touring the virtual exhibit is a great assignment introducing students to the many needs of people around the world.
