Key messages

Medical Teams International is an international humanitarian aid organization working to improve the health of people affected by disaster, conflict and poverty.
What makes us unique is the involvement of volunteer health professionals in our work.
More than 97 percent of charitable donations received by Medical Teams International are used for programs that help people in need.
We are a Christian faith-based organization committed to helping all in need, regardless of their religious affiliation.
In the past 32 years, Medical Teams International has sent out more than 2,400 volunteer teams and distributed humanitarian aid valued at more than 1.5 billion to meet the needs of 1.7 billion people affected by disaster, conflict and poverty around the world.
In Oregon, Washington and Minnesota, nearly 900 volunteer dental professionals serve on Medical Teams International’s 11 mobile dental vans—providing free dental care to more than 17,000 uninsured and low-income patients annually.
