Welcome from President Bas Vanderzalm
For more than 33 years, Bas has served with Christian organizations caring for people in need. Since 1985, he has organized church-based responses to every major international disaster and has traveled to more than 70 countries to carry out this work. Bas joined the staff of Medical Teams International as its president in 1997.
Jeff Pinneo is the CEO of Medical Teams International. "Through decades of service to the world’s most vulnerable, Medical Teams International has established itself as a leader in global relief and development and a regional point of pride here in the Northwest," said Pinneo. "I am thrilled to work with this great team to expand the positive impact of the mission, both at home and around the world. The prospect is both challenging and humbling."
While Pinneo has devoted a great deal of his life to charitable organizations, including Medical Teams International. He has volunteered with the agency since 2006 and served on its board since 2008.
