Where we work
Medical Teams International serves people affected by disaster, conflict and poverty in 70 countries in five regions: Africa, East Asia, Eurasia, Latin America and North America.
Our programs match the particular needs of each region. For example, in Africa we work in HIV and AIDS prevention, care and support as well as in Child Survival.
Field Offices
Medical Teams International programs that utilize volunteers are administered by the regional programs department at our headquarters in Tigard, Oregon. However, several countries where we work also have field offices. In countries where Medical Teams International does not have a field office, all work is done through local partner organizations.
