  • We have shipped $1.4 billion worth of medicines and supplies since 1986.
  • We provided $133 million in medicines and supplies to 66 countries in 2012.
  • In 2012, we helped more than 2.7 million people in 70 countries.
  • We work in both disaster relief and long-term development.
  • We have excellent relationships with government and non-governmental organizations around the world.
  • More than 97% of all donations go directly to our programs and services.
  • Ron Post founded the organization and served as first president.
  • Bas Vanderzalm is the current president and recently celebrated 14 years in the position.  Medical Teams International welcomed Jeff Pinneo as the organization’s new Chief Executive Officer (CEO), effective July 1, 2012.
