The textbooks listed below were written following the United States National Highway Traffic Safety Administration’s guidelines for the Emergency Medical Technician – Basic Level and First Responder Curriculum for caregivers of all levels to gain an understanding of basic pre-hospital emergency medical care. The texts are only to serve as a guideline for the delivery of care under the supervision of a physician or medical director.
