As AllAfrica.com reports, MTI and our partner the Grand Cape Mount County Health Team in Liberia have reached an agreement with health authorities in Sierra Leone to hold cross-border Ebola prevention meetings in the interest of both countries.
The purpose of the meetings is to save lives of Liberians and Sierra Leoneans.
Education of citizens is a critical piece of the action plan to save lives: understanding how the deadly Ebola virus is transmitted is the most effective way to prevent its spread.
