Recently a group of seven young people visited our REAL. LIFE. Exhibit
in Tigard, along with their chaperones. The Tigard Exhibit
has vignettes showcasing eight regions where MTI volunteers are serving, including a Mexico garbage dump where people live and a Guatemalan community where children die from easily preventable illnesses.
Among this group of youths, four were from Guatemala and two were from Mexico. For these visitors, the impact of seeing their countries' vignettes was tremendous. Their group leader wrote us, " when we walked into the new Guatemala exhibit...the teens looked at each other and said, “THIS is our Grandmother’s house. Exactly the same. We visited her last summer.”
The Exhibit brings home the real need around the world. Share your feelings of impact by emailing us at firstname.lastname@example.org
