Join us in our house for a special evening that has been recognized as one of the premiere charitable events in Portland. In the past seven years, over $7.8 million dollars have been raised to support programs all over the world that are changing lives of people affected by disaster, poverty and conflict.
The Adventure begins ...
For one night, the Medical Teams International (MTI) Distribution Center is transformed into a global adventure. Bring your passport! From the moment you enter the building, you step into another world. Tour the multi-sensory REAL.LIFE. Exhibit where you will “experience” MTI’s impact. Sip delicious wine and nibble appetizers while you enjoy a unique variety of silent auction items - from wine, dinners and art to tickets, spa treatments and vacations. Stroll through the international bazaar which features items collected from countries served by MTI. Beautiful scarves, wooden bowls, textiles and unique art take you to a world far away.
The Adventure continues ...
The heart of the evening is the dinner and live auction. Auctioneer Johanna Wells introduces the fabulous packages that tempt buyers. Exotic vacations, winemaker dinners, original art, sporting events, and 600 generous guests helped MTI raise $1.4 million last year alone. There are always special surprises and moving tributes to the work that is done, and the impact that is made on lives.
