Non-cash Gifts
There are several, valuable ways that you can make non-cash donations to Medical Teams International.
Hospital and clinic donations
We accept donations from hospitals and clinics. Please contact our Commodity Support Team at 503.624.1018 to determine appropriate types of donations and schedule inbound shipments. To arrange for a pick-up, please call 503.343.3366 (Oregon) or 425.284.1943 (Washington).
Medical and pharmaceutical company donations
Through generous donations of first-quality, excess inventory of medicines and medical supplies, we’re able to help millions of people around the world. Last year, Medical Teams International procured, processed and shipped more than $110 million worth of donated products.
Your company can benefit in several ways, including:
Corporate tax deduction - Section 170 (e)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code allows qualifying companies a deduction of up to twice the cost of donated inventory.
Additional warehouse space - Elimination of slow-moving inventory increases your warehouse capacity and decreases administrative expenses.
Positive public relations - Medical Teams International's experienced marketing staff may be able to help your organization increase public relations opportunities to highlight your donation.
Philanthropic involvement - Your partnership with Medical Teams International provides a fitting channel for investing in the people and communities that contribute to your success.
Volunteer opportunities - Consider joining us in our work by donating staff hours by volunteering in our offices or events. E-mail us for more information on corporate volunteer opportunities.

Hope Kits
Would you or your group like to help in a unique, constructive way? You can by making Hope Kits.
Hope Kits are either Personal Care Kits or Learning Kits, which are sent to children in orphanages and placement centers, children in the dump, children in refugee camps, families in disaster, as well as families in our own communities.
You and your family, your school, or your youth group can make Hope Kits for these children in need. Download the Hope Kits flyer [PDF] to find out how.
