We partner with churches who share our vision and mission for promoting health in a world affected by disaster, conflict and poverty. We are committed to strengthening communities through partner-based health initiatives, training and capacity building.

Community Partnership Campaign

The Community Partnership Campaign is a program designed to build relationships that go beyond borders and cultures. With Medical Teams International, your church can get involved in the emotional, physical, mental, social and spiritual transformation of a struggling community affected by disaster, conflict and poverty in another part of the world.

Our role

We are a global health organization that serves communities and helps them live full and healthy lives through the power of Christ’s love. We work with churches, grassroots organizations and ministries of health to ensure that our projects fit seamlessly into local contexts. Our volunteers, partners, staff and supporters form a closely knit team that is deeply committed to facilitating lasting solutions for people suffering from disaster, conflict and poverty around the world.

How you can help

We invite churches to adopt, advocate, promote, invest, pray and serve.

Adopt. See “God’s Kingdom as it is in heaven” by choosing a country, a group of people, a community or an issue that will mobilize your prayers, your learning, your advocacy and your resources. For a list of countries, see Where we work.

Advocate. Select a representative that will be the primary liaison between the church, Medical Teams International and the community.

Promote. Help spread the word of Christ and His love for the poor by providing information about the campaign to your church family and your local community. Encourage your congregation to regularly pray for your partner community.

Invest. Make contributions to meet the critical needs of your partner community. Needs are addressed through community health projects, child survival campaigns or disaster relief support.

Serve. Send at least one short-term team every year to spread the love of Christ in your partner community. Mobilize your church for action in your local communities.
