- 100 Ways to Energize Groups [PDF] [International HIV/AIDS Alliance]
This is one of a series of resources that the Alliance is developing to encourage participation in practice. It is a compilation of energizers, icebreakers and games that can be used by anyone working with groups of people, whether in a workshop, meeting or community setting.
- The Resource Center of the Corporation for National and Community Service
Provides “tools and training for volunteer and service programs” and has a section on “Designing Effective Training” with some interesting content and tools; and another section called “Training and Development Topics.”
- Teaching and Learning [UNC Chapel Hill School of Nursing]
The Seven Steps of Planning Plus One is a good overview of Dr. Jane Vella’s Seven Steps of Planning. Training Standards as a tool to complete when planning a learning event. The “plus one” in the title refers to training evaluation.
