Emergency Medical Services Program
Our Emergency Medical Care (EMC) program establishes first response services in developing countries, educating local community members with the necessary skills to respond to emergency situations with medical care.
Our Emergency Medical Care program offers a full range of medical training at the community level, first responder, basic/advanced life support, nursing and the physician level by:
- Providing EMC curriculum in the language(s) of the country.
- Employing a train-the-trainer method of adult education to increase local capacity and sustainability of the training program.
- Standardizing and integrating the EMC curriculum into the national health education system.
